The space
Only a short stroll from Guildford village’s Historic General Store and Pub, make the tranquil, rural town of Guildford your destination or use Villa Nova as a base to explore the neighbouring towns of Castlemaine and Daylesford.
Designed to cater for one or two couples or a family, Villa Nova has two unique bedrooms boasting comfy queen size beds and an abundance of the highest quality Sheridan linen. The first bedroom is on the altar, beneath the church’s stunning main lead light window with the second bedroom upstairs, above the entrance area allowing views of the Plateau through its large, circular window and a bird's eye view of Villa Nova's open plan living area. The sleeping and living arrangements are both functional and flexible with two click down sofas in the lounge area which convert to double beds – the thick mattress toppers and comfy pillows will guarantee a good night’s sleep.
Guests are welcomed to Villa Nova with a hamper of gourmet antipasto delights and breakfast provisions, comprising local produce and a selection of goodies handmade by the owner which is sure to tantalise the tastebuds. If nearby Castlemaine or Daylesford’s culinary scene isn’t for you, Villa Nova offers a brand new BBQ as well as a fully equipped kitchen complete with stove, double oven, coffee machine, fridge and dishwasher - perfect for a home cooked meal with the choice of indoor or outdoor dining!
With families in mind Villa Nova’s children’s corner is set up with toys, books and children’s DVD’s and stair guards, a high chair and porta cot are also available for guest use.
Outdoors the undercover patio area offers 2 armchairs in which to relax, an undercover outdoor dining area and a native garden, complete with brick pathways and stone walling to explore.
Heating is provided in the form of a wood burning fire as well as 2 reverse cycle split systems providing instant heat for late arrivals and air-conditioning during the warmer months.
The light filled bathroom features a half size bath and shower above, vanity and toilet with a second toilet, washing machine and dryer housed in the outdoor laundry area.

Upon confirmation of booking guests will receive a house manual which outlines all of the information required when planning and during your stay.
Guests have full access Villa Nova and its grounds during their stay.
Check in is from 2pm on the day of your arrival.
Check out is before 11am on the day of your departure.
Our cleaners are booked for 11am on the day of your departure. If you require an earlier check in or later check out please let us know, we may be able to accommodate your needs.
The house is set up for you to arrive, relax and enjoy. All linen including bedding, pillows and towels are provided.

CHILDREN:
Children aged 0 - 2 years are non-paying guests. A porta-cot is available upon request by prior arrangement. Fee: $10
Children between the ages of 3 - 13yrs are subject to a $20 dollar discount to the Adult price at just $35 per night. You will need to message me (Kathy) so that a discounted price can be offered to you prior to booking.
PETS:
Your well behaved, house trained dog is welcome at Villa Nova by prior arrangement however please be aware that the property is not securely fenced.
Pets are welcome inside but are not permitted on furniture including couches and beds at any time. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets both within and outside the property.
