The space
The Farmhouse at Telegraph Retreat Cottages, is a fully self-contained house, accommodating up to eight guests with two bedrooms downstairs, offering a queen and a twin room - an open loft area upstairs with a queen bed and double sofa bed, as well as two living areas to enjoy. Whether you are seeking a romantic NSW getaway, the perfect family farm stay or a great location for a group of friends to chill together, The Farmhouse is the space for you!
Children are welcome and always love to hand feed our ducks, goats and to help collect the chicken eggs. There is a table tennis table, a private outdoor barbecue area and a nature playground with a trampoline.
Cook for yourself in the well appointed kitchen or take a swift 15 minute drive to Port Macquarie to experience our food culture, with an abundance of restaurants and cafes to choose from.
If you decide to wander from your cottage and explore the local area, you will return to relax by the fireplace, or in air-conditioned comfort during summer, and soak in the large clawfoot tub with a glass of locally produced wine.
Outdoor enthusiasts - cook up a feast on the BBQ in your undercover dining area, stargaze around the outdoor fire pit, and finish off your evening in the spa, to warm up in winter and cool off in summer.
The cottage is well equipped, providing a selection of tea, coffee (with capsule machine) and basic pantry items, games, magazines, books, DVD's and player, a Telstra box and free wifi, everything to keep your mind from wandering back to work or everyday life!
A complimentary breakfast hamper is provided for the first morning of your stay. We also offer BBQ packs, picnic hampers and cheese platters for two (options for a family available), you cook and serve yourself in house, please contact for prices and information.
Pricing is based on 4 guests, extra guest fees apply for each additional person, maximum of 8 guests.

You share this beautiful rural retreat with the kangaroos, kookaburras and wallabies and our resident farm animals, you are welcome to wander the property at your leisure or we do provide an up close and personal meet and greet with our friendly goats, chickens and geese!
The Farmhouse and our other cottages are all standalone buildings, set over 9 acres and are all private from each other and our residence. Interaction between guests and hosts is not necessary if preferred, we are on site (most of the time) to assist with any issues or if you are wanting a farmstay experience.
