Brand new first floor living amongst the trees. Expansive views of the surrounding hillside and views of the sea and Bruny Island over the rooftops.
The Beach Box is situated one row back from Big Roaring Beach but has direct access (within 50m) to the beach through the garden gate.

The Beach Box has two bedrooms with a king sized bed in bedroom one, two king single beds in bedroom two and a modern bathroom with large walk in shower. There is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining and lounge area together with a smart TV and proper coffee machine. Additional entertaining space is gained from the double balconies which are accessed from the living area and bedrooms at either end of the property. The Beach Box is fully equipped for cooking and includes a Weber Q BBQ, a slow cooker and an air fryer (as well as oven and stove top). Please note there is no dishwasher.
The following beach equipment is available for responsible use - a sun shelter/tent, kayak and a wave ski (with paddles). Please bring your own life vests since none are provided.
The Beach Box is situated just over an hour's drive from Hobart via the Esperance Coast Road which provides amazing views of the Huon River in the picturesque Huon Valley and neighbouring Bruny Island. The property is within 10 minutes drive of Dover where you will find the local supermarket, petrol station, cafes and essential shops.
The Huon Valley is renowned for its local fruit, wine/cider and salmon produce - there are farm shops and cellar doors aplenty so come and experience it for yourself.
Hastings Caves and thermal pool are 30 minutes drive away, Tahune Adventures and Cockle Creek are an hour away. Cockle Creek is well worth a visit if you are bringing camping, boating and fishing gear with you - it's a beautiful, unspoilt part of the world to escape to.
The Beach Box is a wonderful place to relax at Big Roaring Beach and to base yourselves from to experience all there is to offer in the Far South of Tasmania.
Guests can access the upstairs part of the property only via an external staircase. The garage and the cabin next to the property are not accessible - spare beach equipment is stored underneath the cabin which guests are welcome to use.
The house is newly built and sits just back from the beach in a close cluster of homes within this remote and developing beach community.
The local economy is supported by Huon Aquaculture and Tassal Tasmanian Salmon farms - you will see the farms from the beach.
