This is a fully furnished beachfront apartment which has been completely renovated in October 2016. The beachfront accommodation has two bedrooms, spacious living room and separate dining room, brand new kitchen and bathroom, new carpet, freshly painted all with new furniture.
The apartment consists of two bedrooms both of which can accommodate king beds. The king beds in both rooms can be split into two single ensembles and for the fifth person a trundle bed is available. The living areas are spacious and bright looking onto Kingston Beach and the mouth of the Derwent River and the dining room has direct views of Mt Wellington. The lounge room offers ample seating with a 3 seater and 2 seater lounge, LCD TV, stereo, and reverse cycle air-conditioning.
The brand new modern kitchen has the latest appliances with a microwave, fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher, glass touch control cook top, and other small appliances including kettle, toaster, sandwich press, cutlery, crockery, utensils, saucepans and glassware to name a few for your short or extended stay in Kingston Beach. The dining room adjoins the kitchen and has seating for 6 people.
Double sliding glass doors from the lounge room provides access to a balcony looking over the water which is the perfect outlook for you to relax with an afternoon drink whilst watching life go by on Kingston Beach. This can also include watching the finish of the Sydney to Hobart race as the yachts pass through the mouth of the Derwent River. The apartment also has a grassed area for kids to play, clothes line and off street parking.
All linen is suppled including sheets, towels, tea-towels, electric blankets, hair-dryer and small supply of tea and coffee facilities.
Kingston Beach is a family friendly beach with small waves, kids playground and many walking tracks to enjoy. This modern and private apartment is a very short walk to local cafes and restaurants all with beachfront views.
We have thought of everything you may need, so all is required from you is to come and enjoy this peaceful and relaxed haven where you can be busy enjoying everything southern Tasmania has to offer, or you can just relax and enjoy beachside living.
This is a perfect base to explore Hobart (only 10 min drive by car) with direct access to buses at your front door taking you into Hobart CBD. A 25 min drive will allow you to catch a ferry to Bruny Island where you can sample wine, cheese and other produce they are known for. Around half an hour by car is the scenic Huon Valley with beautiful rainforests and apple orchards.
Close to the apartment and Kingston Beach is Kingston Beach Golf Club and Channel Court Shopping Centre with the big supermarkets, Big W and other specialty shops for your convenience.
