Welcome to our Rammed Earth Farm Stay, where modern comforts meet the rustic charm of traditional construction. Nestled above the Mt Clay State Forest , our unique accommodation offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, providing an opportunity to reconnect with nature and experience the simple joys of farm living.
Our BnB room is part of our home and as such you can expect to hear us going about family life with our three young children in tow (expect some noise...)
The space
The room itself has its own entrance, seperate of our main living and has a shared deck which gets beautiful afternoon sun. While our property has amazing views, the room does not although you are welcome to take a walk along the driveway to appreciate them.
It is important for guests to know that this BnB is part of our family home and as such it is not silent! We have three children under the age of 7 and while they are mostly very well behaved, they aren't robots with a silent switch...
We are a working farm with 3,000 free-range chickens and a mob of Black Angus Beef cattle. While these do not pose any noise or smell issues to the BnB, it does mean you may hear and see us out and about on various farm activity. Feel free to chat with us about what we are up to if our paths cross during your stay.
Guest access
As a guest of our farm you will have your own carparking space, just near the BnB entrance. It is approximately 20m to walk from your car to the room, along a gravel path.
You will also have access to our WIFI and to our Netflix account during your stay.
Other things to note
We will provide some basic complimentary breakfast supplies (cereal / weet-bix / bread for toast / spreads) as well as tea, coffee, and milk. The room has a basic kitchenette, which includes a microwave, bar fridge, toaster, and kettle. The only sink is the bathrom sink. Tap water is drinkable rain water.
The room does not have a stove / oven, however there is a BBQ on the deck you are welcome to use, just ask.
