Offering comfortable day trip experiences within a 100km driving radius. Within proximity, 20-45 minutes drive you’ll find the historic tourist town of Beechworth, Albury Wodonga, access to the Murray River, national parks and the world-renowned Rutherglen Wine Region. 15 minutes drive further on opens up access to Wangaratta and the Milawa Gourmet Region, Glenrowan (Ned Kelly Country) and the King Valley wine region with its famous Prosecco Road.
A little further afield ski and day visitation alpine areas including Falls Creek and Mount Buffalo can be visited. Huon Creek Retreat is located in the heart of a 150 acre working farm. As guests you are welcome to explore our beautiful property and creek flowing through the centre. At times we may need to attend the workshop, or tend to the livestock, these are far enough away to ensure your privacy, and wont disrupt your peaceful stay.
Our property has cattle, sheep and closer to the home chickens that provide some farm fresh eggs.
