Locality
Pitstop Lodge is close to the Warwick CBD.
Warwick itself is in easy driving distance to the wineries in the Stanthorpe area. Allora, Leyburn, Clifton, Killarney and Maryvale are small towns that offer tourists a taste of all things country. The famous Leyburn Sprints are held every August.
Warwick is known as "The Horsepower Capital of Queensland".
There is always something on at Morgan Park, whether it be on 2 or 4 wheels, or 4 legs.
The Polocrosse World Cup took place here in April 2019, which attracts teams from all over the world. There are many equestrian events year round. The Barastoc event is held every year.
Warwick is famous for its Rodeo and Campdraft, which is always the last full weekend in October. Book early for that one.
Our other huge event is "Jumpers and Jazz in July".
A quirky festival that sees our bare trees rugged up in all sorts of hand-crafted creations, and jazz musicians along the street and in the cafes. This always takes place from the 3rd and 4th full weekends in July and the days in between.
Almost every weekend there is some form of Motorsport at the Morgan Park racing circuit or the drags.
