The Hacienda is a delightful simple but cosy cottage on a hill in the heart of Eldorado overlooking the Chiltern Mount Pilot National park.
You feel so at home when you walk in. It has been beautifully renovated but still has features of the original building that was two cabins for the caravan park nextdoor.

It will suit those who are active or those who just want to relax looking out at the view and watching the birds crossing the property.
Close to Beechworth, Wangaratta, and the King Valley through some beautiful countryside it is a little piece of paradise.

Eldorado has many other local features including a PYO cherry farm over summer (season dependent), a pottery, tea rooms, a museum and the local pub that boasts being the smallest in victoria. It serves meals but book early in the day or even before you arrive as it is often booked out. Of course, there is the gold dredge as well and throug out the town are historical markers.
Being on tank water we ask that you respect this and aim for three-minute showers. We also ask that where possible you use the environmentally friendly soaps and cleaning products provided as we are on a septic system and are also aiming to utilise this property for food production in the future.
We are in the process of developing a bore and hope that with the increased access to water this will be possible and that you can return in the future to see how the garden and property evolve.
