The Casita may be my favorite home.
1 bedroom, 1 bath...a perfect hide away. You wake, stretch and look out your windows at the spectacular views of water and nature. After a leisurely morning, you just have to try the outdoor shower with enough room for two. From The Casita, you may see a pod of dolphins playing near the dock.
As the day continues, you may choose to boat over to St. Catherine's or Ossobaw Island and relax on the beach with a picnic lunch. By mid-afternoon, you head back to The Casita and the spacious outdoor kitchen now comes into play. You fire up the grill and prepare an evening meal (that somehow tastes better than any meal you've ever prepared), or you may choose to have your meal prepared for you! Your Hostess offers menu options, information upon booking. And of course, there is always the option of dining out at a local seafood restaurant.
This beautiful hideaway is close to I-95 but FAR from everything. Don't worry about leaving your pet. Pets are welcome!! Bring Your boat, dock it, then use our fish cleaning station to clean your daily catch! Local fishing and Beaching charters are also available.

Summary: Beautiful property, very peaceful, great place to unwind, and take time to appreciate the view of the water, birds and sunset. My husband and I enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen. It had what we needed to prepare meals. The Casita was perfect size for us 2. Location is off the beaten path but still close enough for day trips like Savannah ,Jekyll Island, and historic Forts. The host Cookie was so sweet and helpful in everyway! It was nice to have a chance to meet her!
