The Space:
Experience luxury and serenity in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. This property was featured on ABC Landline for its unique 30-million-year-old volcanic rocks. These can mostly be found beautifully positioned next to the lake, where a stunning water feature and space for absolute tranquility has been created. Enjoy your own private lake with rowboat available for guest use, the perfect spot to perhaps pop that special question?! Or load up the picnic basket provided for a romantic breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Explore the many walking trails that have been cleared for you, where you will find a number of native birds and tawny frogmouths, gigantic ancient trees and elkhorns. If you are a keen adventurer there is even a hidden waterfall on the property! Kangaroos and wallabies will often be seen in a variety of areas. Please be mindful and of our native wildlife, we don't wish to scare them away, so please understand no pets are permitted on the property for this reason.
Relax in the glass, fully screened conservatory looking out to the property's lake and enjoy the abundant & varied flora and fauna. Take advantage of the covered patio, hammock, spacious outdoor dining and the stunning views of the Glass House Mountains. During winter, kick off your shoes and enjoy the indoor/outdoor fireplace, either from the cozy lounge inside, or on the spacious deck.
The fully equipped kitchen features a large gas cooktop with a Smeg double oven for all your cooking needs! Modern appliances including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, French press for coffee (with local Montville coffee provided) & an abundance of bench space. A large servery window brings the outdoors in. All basic condiments such as tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, paper towels, etc. are all provided! Filtered water available.
Cathedral ceilings in the kitchen & main living/dining area. You will love the 65inch HD Smart TV, with Netflix, Apple TV, and Amazon Prime Video. Games room downstairs with numerous board games.
- Please note the Wi-Fi is not the best out here in the hinterland, however we assure that you will most likely find a much better "connection" in nature!
Ducted reverse cycle zoned air-conditioning throughout the home.
Three generous sized bedrooms all with built in robes, 2 bedrooms with their own ensuites. All linen for bedding & bathroom is provided and included in the cleaning fee.
Bedroom 1: 1 x Queen bed, walk in robe & ensuite.
Bedroom 2: 1 x Queen bed, built in robe.
Bedroom 3: Completely detached from the main house, accessible through a covered walkway with 1 x Queen bed, dressing room, ensuite & private balcony.
**A sofa bed (day bed/ trundle consisting of 2 king single mattresses) is available upon request to accommodate 2 extra guests. Located in downstairs games room**
Washing machine, dryer and drying rack available in the laundry. Third bathroom located next to the laundry and close to the 2nd bedroom.

Guest Access:
Access is available to all areas listed except for the Library and Caretakers cottage. These will not be for guests use.
There will be a lockbox with a code to access the key for easy, self-check in.

The home is situated in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, a fabulous spot for hiking, sightseeing birdlife, beautiful falls and rainforests, or for simply just relaxing. Popular wedding venue Tiffany's is just 4.2km away. And the hinterland area is renowned for its fresh produce - visit a winery, a craft brewery or a local dairy. There’s plenty to experience in the area!
Getting Around:
You’re just a short drive to the delightful township of Maleny with its boutique shops, restaurants and cafes. Your own transport is necessary in the beautiful Hinterland as there are very limited public transport options available.
Taxis can be booked in advance.

Deepest point of lake is 12.5 meters. Do NOT go in the boat if you cannot swim.
The boat is for maximum 2 people only.
For your own comfort & safety, all doors & screens must be closed behind you as this property is surrounded by natural wildlife.
To protect wildlife, pets are not welcome.
Children over 12yo on application as the property has large bodies of water and direct access to bushland.
Please note it is quite a long driveaway (dirt track) to get to the house and could be potentially a little confusing to get to if driving in after dark, however we will always be available for assistance if ever needed.
