The quaint shopping village of Mission Beach offers a selection of cafes, restaurants, bars. There is also Lenny’s Local Fruit & Vegetable store and a great convenience store. You will be tempted at Helen Wiltshire Gallery or one of the fashion or gift stores. The new swimming pool is located at Mission Beach including a hydrotherapy pool. The “Dunk and Splash” water play pad is on the foreshore of Wongaling Beach. The first and third Sunday of each month there a markets in the Ulysses park at Mission Beach. The Mission Beach Monster Markets are held on the last Sunday of each month from Easter Sunday until November. These are also located at Ulysses park at Mission Beach. It is great fun strolling around the village shops and galleries. During the stinger months (November to May) there is a stinger enclosure at South Mission Beach. It is recommended to have a car when staying at South Mission Beach. Another option available is hiring a push bike. This is a great way to get out and about Mission Beach.
