"Ellenor Ivy Cottage" Charming , Comfortable home away from home, with most everything in the self contained cottage. The cottage overlooks views of vineyards and hills from the private rear yard & garden. The large fenced back yard is perfect for fun activities, or just relaxing and enjoying local wines with a BBQ.
Perfect for Larger groups, Corporate groups, Couples, andFamilies.,Children are most welcome.
The cottage sleeps up to 08 and has 4 bedrooms, (1) has a King size bed and a single (2) has a Queen bed,(3) has a Queen and the 4th has 1 Queen and 1 single, beds are fitted with electric blankets, and bedrooms have ceiling fans.
The cottage is self contained, with a microwave, electric stove , pots , pans ,cutlery, crockery, large fridge/freezer, everything you would need to cater for your own coo
Continental provisions are supplied for breakfast Milk , Bread ,
Spreads, Cereal, Plunger Coffee and a selection of Teas.
The main lounge is cosy with a wood burning fire, wood is supplied at no extra cost, reverse cycle air conditioning ,80cm Flat screen TV and DVD player. The second living room has an 8 ball table. There is also a third retreat area. The modern renovated bathroom has a walk in shower and separate large bath, all linen and towels are provided. The cottage has two toilets ,one inside the modern laundry area , the other is located under the rear veranda.
The BBQ area is under cover , an outdoor table and chairs are provided for you to enjoy the beautiful vineyard views with in a secure and private back yard, a lovely local slate topped table situated under an arbour is located in the rear garden also.

"Ellenor Ivy Cottage" is located in the heart of the Historic township of Mintaro, in the Clare Valley Wine Region. Enjoy the Rural surroundings of rolling hills and vineyards, farms and livestock, as you make your way through the beautiful area, and experience all that it has to offer.
A lovely area to enjoy bike rides or walk around exploring the township . Close to town Play ground
It is easy walking distance to the local Magpie & Stump Hotel, Reilly's Vineyard and Restaurant is diagonally opposite the cottage some two minutes away.
Mintaro Garden and Mintaro Maze, Mintaro wines are just a short stroll away. Martindale Hall is a short drive out of the town, there are many other local attractions within the township.
The Riesling trail is easily accessed just a short distance away.
Mintaro is a beautiful 15 minute drive from the township of Clare, 30 minutes from Burra(fabulous history of mining and heritage buildings),15 minutes from Auburn,10 minutes from Sevenhill (where you will find the Historic Sevenhill Cellars ,the Jesuit Monastry,& St Aloyisius Catholic Church. )
The townships of Leasingham and Watervale are only 15 minutes from Mintaro.
The Clare Valley area is well known for its wineries and cellar door outlets which are dotted throughout this beautiful landscape of rolling hills and magnificent gums.
Enjoy the gorgeous colours of the Autumn leaves, and the vibrant green grass and vineyards, as the landscape changes with the seasons. " Awaken your senses"
