Relax and enjoy nature as the cabin is visited by various birds, fairy wrens and kangaroos.
There is a pair of binoculars and a bird book available at the cabin which has details of the native birds that can be viewed around the cabin.
On a clear night the full moon and star gazing is amazing.
The covered veranda has a view over the dam to natural bush and a Redgum Forest.
Our cabin has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other room with two single beds.
The room with single beds is the access into the bathroom, which includes shower and toilet facilities.
A gas hot water system ensures nice hot showers.
The living area has a kitchen with cooking essentials, a fridge/freezer and a gas oven with gas stove top.
To keep you warm during winter we have a lovely slow combustion fire which we will light for you and supply firewood - available mid April onward, subject to fire season.
A BBQ is also available for use at the cabin.
We live on the property with our two small children and we are happy to provide information on local tourist attractions.
Our property is 78 acres of which we are in the setup stages of an avocado orchard.
We are also bordered on 3 sides by state forest.
There is "Arthur" our 300 yo Karri tree.
Guests can access State Forest trails nearby. There is a grassed area near the cabin that can be used for play.
The Southern Forest Region is unique in that we are surrounded by beautiful Karri forests and farming country. Within reach we have the rugged and wild south coast, with whales and salmon migrating annually.
Local attractions and activities include, bush walking, swimming, trout fishing, mountain bike riding, 4 wheel driving (tours available), dune boarding, the Gloucester Tree, Windy Harbour, Marlamaup Beach (summertime 4WD track only), Yeagerup Beach, Bibbulmun Track (hiking) plus beautiful restaurants and wineries .

Linen and towels are provided (except for beach towels which you will need to bring yourself).
*We are on solar power and completely off grid. Charging for phones, laptops and other devices is available at the cabin.

Drinking and showering water is supplied from rain water tanks.
If you are bringing children, please supervise them closely around the bush and dams.
Swimming is not permitted in the dams and smoking is only allowed outside near the cabin.
