Positive: Pieve San Biagio is a great base to visit the area around Macerata. Even being within 5km of the city it is a very quiet area, a not so little refuge from the hustle and bustle of life. Our apartment was perfect for four people and we could not have asked more from the staff. We used it to drive in a different direction every day and explore Marche. We were very happy with the location and our stay in the area. You would be hard pressed to find a more comfortable and convenient place to stay at any price. The owners have also produced one of the best guide books I’ve seen with local sites that weren’t in our books and restaurant recommendations. I look forward to returning to completely cover all of their wonderful recommendations.

Negative: The bed was so comfortable that it was hard to get up and go sightseeing in the morning.

Summary: Excellent property in a great agricultural setting but still only minutes to town.
