Built by a builder for his own family, this fantastic family residence has been thoughtfully designed to take advantage of it's position overlooking the ocean, resulting in a light- filled home that's cool and inviting in summer and cosy in winter. It utilises gorgeous open-plan living, superb entertaining space and an exquisite fusion of natural timber and glass to create a unique space that simply works.
With the surf beach just a short stroll away, and the walking tracks of the Otway Ranges National Park right on your doorstep, this house is the ideal base for a restful break.
Busy days will be complemented by restful evenings watching the magic of yet another ruby sunset unfold before you. Native birds are frequent visitors to the deck and you may even spot a koala or two in the adjacent trees that embrace the property.
The open-plan kitchen with its wide stone benches offers all the modern appliances you'd expect to find in a contemporary kitchen, making entertaining a breeze. If you don't feel like cooking, however, the township of Wye River offers traditional pub meals and a General Store and Cafe that does a fantastic breakfast and lunch.
