The Space:
All 3 bedrooms have luxurious king beds which are super comfortable. One of the kings can be split in to 2 long single beds if required. The main bedroom has its own ensuite and a TV and there’s a main bathroom for the other 2 bedrooms to share. Each bedroom has its own wall heater to keep you comfortably warm in winter and there’s a reverse cycle air conditioner in the living area to keep you comfortable all year round.
The open plan living area leads to a deck, ideal for entertaining, with all day sun and beautiful views overlooking Cambridge Valley Vineyard. The perfect place for a bbq and to watch the sunset after a busy day of sightseeing.
The kitchen is an entertainer’s delight, but if you don’t feel like cooking, 2 minutes up the road you will find Glebe Hill Shopping Centre which includes a Coles Supermarket, McDonald’s and numerous food outlets.
The unit has a single garage with internal access, is on a level site and is fully fenced making it ideal for families. We even supply some toys and games to keep the kids entertained. For the little ones we supply a portacot and high chair.
Just 15 to 20 minutes down the road you will find some of Hobart’s most beautiful beaches such as Opossum Bay, Cremorne and Clifton Beach. Lauderdale is just 5 minutes away with excellent restaurants such as Angie Sue and Driftwood Restaurant and the Shoreline Hotel serves excellent meals and is again just 5 minutes away.
For larger groups or families travelling together, we also have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit available on the same site which can sleep 6.

The Neighborhood:
Just 15 to 20 minutes down the road you will find some of Hobart’s most beautiful beaches such as Opossum Bay, Cremorne and Clifton Beach. Lauderdale is just 5 minutes away with excellent restaurants such as Angie Sue ,Foreshore Hotel ,Driftwood Restaurant and the Shoreline Hotel serves excellent meals and is again just 5 minutes away.
The closest major supermarket is Coles Supermarket at the Oak downs Shopping Centre 2-minute drive from the property, only a 7-minute drive away from that is Eastland’s Shopping Centre which is the largest Shopping Centre in Tasmania with over 90 stores is only 10-minute drive away.
With Salamanca only being a 20-minute drive away, I would highly recommend going to the iconic Salamanca Markets on a Saturday morning. The weekly outdoor market held by Hobart’s waterfront offers a diverse range of nearly 300 stalls including original and hand-made Tasmanian pieces of woodwork, jewelry, fashion, glassware and ceramics, as well as the finest flavors from the food and produce stalls. Salamanca Market is open every Saturday, rain or shine, from 8.30am to 3pm.
I would also recommend the Farm Gate Market, which runs on a Sunday morning from 8.30am to1pm. The market is located on Bathurst Street, between Murray and Elizabeth streets, and offers some of Tasmania’s finest produce direct from the farmer.
There are several walking tracks in the peninsula, the closet being the Cremorne.
to Lauderdale , and Lauderdale to Seven Mile Beach track.
Getting Around:
To enjoy Hobart and surrounds its best that you have a car, Uber run in Tasmania.
