A queen sized bed awaits you as well as a spacious living area with ample seating along with two single beds. A kitchenette stocked with pantry staples, a portable stovetop and small fridge as well as coffee machine and cooking utensils. Complementary soaps in the bathroom and a light breakfast provided is all to make The Villa your 'home away from home'.
We are excited to invite you to stay in our new accommodation overlooking The Parterre Garden and its beautiful fountain here at Merribee gardens.
The Villa has been designed for very easy and comfortable living. Allowing the outdoors to come in. The open plan living area is very large, and comfortably decorated with sofas, chairs, tables and different areas to sit and contemplate life!
Sleep soundly in a comfortable Queen-sized bed. There is a privacy screen to delineate the bedroom from the living space, along with floor to ceiling mirror for changing.
A large kitchenette area is in one part of the living space. With an "essential" Breville coffee machine and coffee beans provided, the kitchenette is also stocked with all basic cooking provisions, including oil, flour, sugar, rice, pasta, milk etc. It has saucepans, a frying pan, and crockery, cutlery and glassware for 4 people in total. Please note there is no oven - only a portable electric stovetop. It has a double porcelain sink, a small fridge and plenty of storage. A light breakfast is also provided with Merribee Honey or Merribee Jams included.
With a marble topped vanity, plenty of towels and bathrobes provided, the bathroom looks through ferns and orchids and over the kitchen garden to the outdoor fireplace. There is a shower in the bathroom and toilet. Merribee soaps are provided.
Help yourself to kindling and timber from the woodpile for the fire during winter, or stay cool with air conditioning in the heat of summer. Enjoy the barista-made coffee and cakes on 'Open Days' or Festival Days at Merribee also!

Guest access
The villa is self-contained and for the exclusive use of guests. You will also have access to the 7 acres of gardens at Merribee, including use of the tennis court.
The owners live on the property and other guests may be staying concurrently in the Silo listed separately).
Please enter through the main car park (the second set of gates as you enter from Nowra).
Throughout winter you will be surrounded by the trees laden with citrus in the citrus grove - limes, lemonades, tangelos, grapefruits, mandarins and oranges. A herbaceous flower garden and kitchen garden is there to observe as you make your morning coffee.
In mid-August to early September the cherry blossom tree is in full bloom, and the little cherub in the fountain works hard all day and night and you can watch the birds gossiping as they gather at the end of the day as the gardeners go home.
The beautiful gnarled wisteria vine is superb in late September, along with bulbs under the Citrus Grove. The crabapples flower in October, and the Annabelle Hydrangeas planted around the Parterre are superb from Christmas through to early March, sheltered by the 4m high Murraya hedge which flowers in March. Open the doors and breathe in all the scents!
