Two hours south of Sydney, ‘Salty Acres’ is situated on a 55 acre working farm that is nestled between green rolling hills and the ocean.
Panoramic, breathtaking, uninterrupted sunny north views to Drawing Room Rocks and Rose Valley. The back yard is family friendly and a magic place to sit to watch the sun rise over the Dam, and set over the mountains. Gerroa headland ,Seven Mile beach and Crooked River are a 2 minute drive away where whales, dolphins, sea and birdlife abound. Seven Mile beach is also a great place to learn how to surf, splash around in ‘kiddie’s corner’, or try your hand at catching fish for dinner.
For keen golfers, the picturesque Gerringong Golf course is a 5 minute stroll across the road.
A few minutes drive to the north will lead you to the township of Gerringong with its top restaurants, cafe’s and boutique shops and markets. Kiama township and beaches are a further ten minutes drive north, or go and explore the lovely country town of Berry, again only a 15 minutes drive away, and its surrounding wineries.
‘Salty Acres’ is a working 55 acre farm, and guests will have access to the 1.5 acre house block. The farmhouse is a comfortable four bedroom single level home that sleeps eight guests, and has all the mod cons that you’d expect from a property like this. Ducted air conditioning throughout, light and airy north facing living and dining areas, modern kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, and luxurious bedding and linen in each of the rooms. Large outdoor entertaining area overlooking the rolling hills and grazing cows.
‘Salty Acres’ is family friendly. A porta cot and high chair is available if required. A selection of books, DVD's, games, Nespresso Coffee machine (including pods) and T2 teas are provided. The backyard with trampoline and fire pit provides plenty of room for family fun.

- Enjoy the spectacular coastal walk from Gerringong to Kiama. Other walks are to be found in the Minamurra Rainforest, Barren Grounds, Drawing Room Rocks ,Saddleback Mountain lookout, and our favourite, walking along Seven Mile Beach.
- Sit by the fireplace, whilst reading a book, drinking coffee or wine and watch the sun set over Drawing Room Rocks.
- Visit Jamberoo family fun Park.
- Jervis Bay, Kangaroo Valley, Historic Berry, Kiama or the Southern Highlands offer enjoyable day trips.
- Visit local wineries, cafes, shops, restaurants and pubs.
