Summary: It was really fun to stay in a traditional Queenslander. The property was well-equipped and comfortable. We loved relaxing on the veranda after a day of sightseeing. The location was perfect for us. It was easy to reach from the airport, a 5 minute walk to a bunch of good restaurants, a 2 minute walk to a small grocery, and less than a 10 minute walk to the lovely Cairns Botanical Gardens. The property is in a neighborhood so you will occasionally hear children playing or a dog bark, but the only sounds we heard in the evening were the beautiful sounds of birds. We hope to stay again at this property.
