Summary: The property itself is gorgeous, views overlooking the lake and several bedrooms for a spacious stay. That being said, we booked this property for some of our bridal party the days leading up to our wedding at Heritage Estates down the street and the property manager was awful from the start to the very end. First, he told us we were checking in on Friday.. even though we paid a LOT ahead of time and all our documents said Thursday to Monday, uhh what? Then, once arriving, the property was a mess.. old decorations for Father’s Day up & no conditioner or body lotion in the bathrooms (just some dollar store shampoo and body wash, even though we spent 9,000 for four days here…..) We had a couple caterers drop off food for us on the morning of our wedding, because there were 13 of us and we didn’t want to cook. We then got angry messages from the owner, saying we couldn’t get food delivered? What a joke. Lastly, upon checking out, we gathered all our items and packed away the garbage into bags and boxes, putting it away neatly in the garage to be taken out on garbage day. The owner then called us freaking out, saying we needed to come back and get lit garbage (which we did, even though that makes no sense whatsoever)… All in all I would recommend staying away from this property, it’s not worth the hassle or the cost. Trust us, there are kinder hosts around every corner & you’re better off giving your money to someone who makes you feel welcome, not like criminals.
