“Licence to Chill” is a delightful two-storey home featuring impressive ocean views in Surf Beach, a mere hop, skip and a jump to the beach itself. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The first floor comprises a light-filled open plan kitchen / dining / living area (with smart tv, X-box, Sony Bluetooth music system and dvd player) that opens to the generous ocean-facing balcony. The ground floor contains all three bedrooms, a bathroom (with shower over bath), a separate toilet and a fully equipped laundry.
Outdoor Areas
Outdoor living is catered for as well, with a sun-drenched balcony opening off the upstairs living area. This delightful space offers ocean views, and is equipped with a gas BBQ, plus a quality outdoor setting. The enormous, fully enclosed yard provides an abundance of play equipment, and there’s even a firepit for guests to use (wood not provided). There is ample off-street parking carport underneath the home for two cars, and a long driveway for another four.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, an Saeco coffee machine (requires ground coffee), toaster, kettle, food processor, sandwish press, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The home contains four wall-mounted reverse-cycle split system units. Outdoors there is a firepit (wood not provided).
Bedding Configuration
This home has 4 beds, accommodating up to 7 guests:
Bedroom 1 (downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (downstairs): One Tri-bunk
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, * check in times * are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional * linen hire * over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
