Nested in the outskirts of Wollongong this forest retreat is a wonderful place to find respite as you explore the attractions of Illawarra. You can walk about the garden through the rainforest and hear the water bubbling through the creek at the bottom of the hill. The block is a surprisingly rich forest that runs down a hill to a small creek. You will see possums and dragons visit the edges of the house and hear many birds sing to you in the morning and as the sun sets over the deck.
This architecturally designed house has been refurbished into 2 independent guest units with clean and modern kitchen and bathrooms. They are decorated with a minimalist style to help you unwind and find peace away from the city.
This unit (Unit 2) has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room with a dining area, a modern TV with Netflix provided, WiFi, all linen and towels, and a small full kitchen. There is a shared laundry, accessed downstairs from the shared deck. The location in Mt Pleasant means you have easy access to both the motorway, Wollongong city and the Wollongong beaches.
NOTE: This is a strictly NO PARTY house. Please consider that these units have a shared deck and we kindly ask that you respect your fellow guests. After 10:00 pm please ensure that you move your social activity inside to your unit’s living room. Please keep the internal kitchen doors closed to minimise sound leakage between units.
Guests can access the entire outdoor garden, deck, laundry room and drying room (shared with other guests).
Other things to Note:
1. You will need to walk down stairs to access the property.
2. Garden area is natural rain forest setting with steep slopes with no hand rails, not suitable for very young children.
3. There is a possum family and a dragon live on site, they are very friendly, please don’t scare them away.
