A very comfortable 3 bedroom home with open plan living, The Reef House offers an idyllic setting for that quintessential family beach holiday or perhaps a quiet getaway.
From the large south facing deck, sheltered on those hot days but very welcoming on those balmy evenings, you enter the open plan living, dining and kitchen area with cathedral ceiling and koonara heater. Down a central passageway are the bedrooms, bathroom, laundry and separate toilet.
Ideally situated, a short walk will take you to great beaches suitable for all ages. At one end of the town there is the sheltered bay beach with a rockpool ideal for children, rock ledges for fishing and snorkeling and a sand boat launching/retrieval ramp. At the other end of town is a popular surf beach. Both of these beaches are patrolled by life saving clubs. Just around the Cape is a long stretch of rugged surf beach which is favoured by experienced surfers and body boarders.
Accommodation is comprised of 1 x queen, 1 x double and 2 x single bunk beds in the third bedroom.
Location
Situated on the Bass Coast, Cape Paterson is located 130 kms or 1 hour 45 minutes southeast of Melbourne. It is 10 mins from the bustling township of Wonthaggi which offers a broad range of shopping, sporting, entertainment and medical facilities.
The township of Inverloch is a 15 minute drive along the magnificent coastal road. Phillip Island and the penguins, grand prix track, koala sanctuary and surf beaches are only 30 minutes away.

From swimming and beach play, fishing or snorkelling, walking along the magnificant cliff top walking trails and enjoying the panoramic vistas, perhaps cycling is your thing, Cape Paterson and the surrounding district has something for everyone.
You can travel inland via rolling hills to the popular towns of Korumburra and Leongatha as well as to peaceful hamlets such as Loch, Meeniyan and Koonwarra where you can dine in quaint cafes and browse through antique and bric a brac outlets.
For golfers there are challenging courses at Wonthaggi, Leongatha, Korumburra, Meeniyan and Cowes.
East of Cape is the Bunurong Marine Park which includes access to several isolated beaches, Eagles Nest and a famous dinosaur fossil site at The Caves.
