Located in a peaceful, tranquil location, you will be living on one of Brisbane's premier acreages in Brisbane's koala heartland. Ample native birds and wildlife, this brand new stand-alone cabin is located on a dedicated, fully fenced yard (2000m2+) so you can spread out and relax. You will have spacious, private acreage living with the full convenience of the city (5 mins to shops, restaurants 10 mins to cinemas, Chandler sports complex, 20 mins to airport & the city, 35 mins to themeparks - Dreamworld, Wet&Wild, Movie World etc ).
The fully insulated cabin has every luxury for your home away from home. Guests are provided with a washing machine, reverse cycle air conditioning (heating and cooling), unlimited wireless internet and the latest smart-TV with high quality speakers (netflix, disneyplus and spotify [music] ready). Porta-cot and baby bath are also available on request (please note: this cabin only has a shower - no bathtub).
The kitchen is fully equipped and cleverly designed to ensure easy access to all appliances. Guests are provided with ample cutlery, crockery and cookware for use with the cooking appliances (oven, grill, hotplate, microwave, etc). For those staying longer term, you will enjoy the added luxuries of an espresso coffee machine and dishwasher.
All bedrooms have blockout curtains. Guests also have the option to include a study desk and lamp in the second bedroom (please message the host to request this). By default, the study desk is removed to make the second bedroom more spacious (the room already has a built in wardrobe and a heavy duty 300kg rated bunk bed).
The site has onsite secure car parking. It is fully fenced (dog proof to 5 feet) to ensure maximum privacy. Guests can choose to allow our super-friendly and gentle family cattle dog (Harry) into the enormous guest yard or ignore him (keep him in the horse paddock). Likewise guests can choose to free-range the chickens (our dog plays well with the chickens) or keep them contained in their pen. Guests are welcome to take the daily chicken eggs (before 4pm [approx 2-4 eggs / day).
Guests can self check-in and check-out with a secured key-lockbox. This has been done to guarantee access to the cabin, even if the hosts are out or if you arrive late at night.
The other yards/ paddocks (horse paddock, tennis courts, swimming pool) are not for guest access.
Note: Pets are welcome, but we kindly ask to keep them off the furnishings.
