Casa Cretese (approx 220sqm) is an independent villa located in the Asciano countryside, approximately 4 km far from the village, right in the centre of the Crete Senesi. The old farmhouse was restored by the owners respecting the local traditions, using terracotta flooring and beamed ceilings.
From the villa there are magnificent views over the hills and valleys. There is a wonderful 360 degrees panorama on the Crete Senesi hills with views of small villages on one side and Siena on the other side.
Access to the property is via a non-asphalted road.
Ground floor: entrance via the patio with garden furniture, one double bedroom, one bathroom with shower.
Internal staircase leading to the first floor (accessible via an external staircase too): equipped kitchen (oven, gas hob, fridge, toaster, American coffee machine, Italian coffee machine, dishwasher and air conditioning), fireplace, Sat TV, 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms.
The outdoor space features a lovely private swimming pool (12m x 4m, depth 1.2m; open May-September) and a well-maintained garden. At the back of the property there is a separate laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Please note the owner's son lives in a part of the house on the ground floor, which is totally separated from the guests' accommodation and has independent entrance. The garden and the pool are at exclusive use of guests. Please also note that next to Casa Cretese is another building belonging to the owner; it is not lived in and only used by the owner when he comes to maintain the property.
