Birdie Beach House has all the makings of the perfect holiday getaway with something for everyone. Birdie is a traditional Eagle Bay Beach House with a chic coastal aesthetic situated in private surrounds on a sprawling 5000sqm block, with north facing views over the valley to the ocean beyond.
The Space
Guests entering the home will find themselves in a foyer with stunning slate flooring which flows throughout the home except for the living area and bedrooms where wool carpeting adds a warmth and elegance. The house is exceptionally spacious, so every member of the group will be able to enjoy their own privacy.
Take a few steps into the huge lounge area with its array of comfortable sofas and chairs to seat everyone in comfort, a wood burning stove and Smart TV. Sliding doors open to a large verandah which in itself is a great social/living area with large comfy rattan lounging chairs, dining table and dining chairs. This is a great place to hang out in the Summer months, sipping on a glass of the wine from the region while the steaks sizzle on the BBQ.
Back inside is a lovely wooden dining setting along with a large kitchen and pantry. The view from the upstairs area is stunning looking out across the Eagle Bay countryside towards the ocean.
A long passageway leads to the master bedroom and ensuite with shower, vanity and walk-in robe. A large bedroom with 3 sets of bunk beds are also on this floor. The home is licensed for 10 guests max, including children, so this room allows for the kids to bunk together as they love to do when on vacation.
Take the stairs down to a small Activity area for the kids on the lower floor level along with two queen size bedrooms, each with predominantly rammed earth walls which keep the rooms lovely and cool in the Summer months. A bathroom is on this floor with shower vanity and separate toilet.
It's so peaceful here with plenty of areas where you can sit back, relax and take in the stunning surrounds. This is a great home to create some amazing holiday memories.
Located near the beach, world-class wineries and the national park, there is plenty to keep you active during your stay in the South West. Close to Eagle Bay Brewery, Wise Vineyard and Meetup Farmhouse.
