Magical Oasis in central Brisbane, 5 kms from the city, opposite a beautiful park and right beside Mount Coot-ha State Forest. It is set back from the road and is a traditional Queenslander with a pool and entertainment area. Lots of character, large bedrooms, two covered verandahs, a modern fully equipped kitchen/entertainment area, spa bath and internal fireplace. It has two levels and the whole house is what you are getting. They are not separate dwellings.
The space
You can lounge on the front verandah or do yoga on the back deck. This is a peaceful environment that offers the best of city and bush living. There is surround sound TV, a baby grand piano and dining areas inside and out or go for one of the many bushes walks from your front door. The pool area is private and surrounded by greenery and there is also an outdoor setting beside the pool on the deck to enjoy your morning coffee and listen to the kookaburras!! Otherwise, walk to one of the cafes or on the weekend enjoy live music and a drink at the bowls club on the other side of the park. Buses leave for the city at the end of the street. The downstairs is air-conditioned and tiled and wheelchair accessible. The upstairs has wooden floors so please no animals inside or on any furniture, but you are welcome to be on the front deck or downstairs inside.
Guest access
Guests have access to both upstairs and downstairs. There is a laundry downstairs and if you want to bring your cars into the garage you can pack up the table tennis table ( please don't leave it in the rain!!) The upstairs is accessed via the front stairs—the downstairs by the sliding wooden and glass doors. You have full access to the pool and entertainment deck.
