On the property there are various sunny and shady sitting areas as well as several small loggias with stunning views of the Val di Chio. The location is ideal for relaxing in nice company, but also to reach some of the most beautiful art cities in Tuscany and Umbria: The cultural sights of the ancient cities of Arezzo, Perugia, Cortona or the medieval Montepulciano, also famous for the production of the 'Nobile' red wine, want to be explored by you. All of these towns - and many more - can be reached within an hour's drive. Also worth a visit are the Renaissance town of Pienza, where you should definitely try the local 'pecorino' sheep's cheese, and the beautiful Lake Trasimeno with its equipped beaches. In Castiglion Fiorentino there are stores of all kinds, good restaurants and bars for a cappuccino or aperitivo in the piazza.
